The Dress

Grandma and Grandpa went to Chicago and picked out some special clothes for the kids. This dress was Veda's special outfit and it won't fit much longer so I promised them I'd take some nice pictures with Veda wearing it.

She is real picky about clothes and rarely wears dresses. So this was a big process and I had to say and do the exact right things to get her to wear the dress.

First I asked if she wanted to take a bubble bath (in a really excited voice)! She agreed and loved that bath. I laid out the dress on our bed while she bathed. I told her that we were going to wear her Special Special dress for a picture (imagine excited voice and big smile with raised eyebrows)!

We put her dress on after bath. She let me comb her hair as she sat in front of the mirror and played with a squirt of mousse. Then she put mousse in my hair and combed it. Lovely. And I then put some in her hair as she screeched 'ouch'....don't hurt me...as if it hurt!

We ran outside with the stool in hand and she actually let me snap some fun pictures of her. I think I just caught her on the right day. And I am so glad I did because these are so adorable.

And we found some raspberries.
