Good News and Bad News

Veda is the most oral baby I have ever met.  If she's not eating or sleeping her mouth is open like a bird waiting for something to suck on.  If you let her close enough to your face she'll latch on to your  nose! When I put a Binky in her mouth she looks at my like I'm crazy....until she starts sucking and then she loves it.  But like all babies, she can't seem to keep it in her mouth for a sufficient amount of time.  This morning I introduced her to her thumb thinking that maybe she could manage to keep that in her mouth longer and be more content.  She seemed to enjoy it, but her coordination isn't quite where it needs to be to utilize her thumb properly.  So, this is the good news.

The bad news is while I was helping Veda find her thumb Silas got a hold of some conditioner.

Actually he got his hands on a lot of conditioner and soiled his clothes and the shower floor. I'm glad I have a sense of humor and I'm glad the mess is in the shower and not on the couch.
