I stumbled upon a super cute fabric and yarn shop downtown Stillwater about a month ago. There isn't a huge selection of fabrics, but it's all adorable classic boutique material that makes me drool.
Once I find out the gender of unit 2 I may just have to indulge in some fabulous fabrics and spoil the heck out of him/her.
Also [here is the best part] they offer knitting classes! Two classes for $15--what a deal. So, if you're wondering where I am the next two Monday nights, I will be attending Knitting 101 at Darn Knit Anyway downtown Stllwater. If you're in the area, feel free to join.
Also, they have open knitting. Who knew? You can just head on over and hang out in the store/classroom and knit. Like open swimming, at the local middle school for the kids on the weekends but for old crafty people who are into yarn :-) I don't think I'll be attending open knit anytime soon, but it's a fun thought.

Knitting is fun! I already found a pattern for a simple newborn hat that I am going to try out... it'll be my first project knitting in the round so we'll see how it goes!
Good luck at your knitting classes! (Youtube has some good videos too, that's how I learned a couple different stitches)
