Clark and Cowgirl

Last minute, as in yesterday morning, we got wind of a Pumpkin Patch Carnival going on at Calvary Baptist in Roseville. I had been looking for something like this for the kids so naturally I was super excited to go. We got to eliminate the scary things about the holiday and also enjoy wearing costumes inside (as opposed to bundling up outside) Here are a few shots of Silas' costume in full swing. He kept his shirt unbuttoned for a short time so I took a ton of photos.

The carnival had cool farm animals for the kids to pet and feed.

They got their faces painted.
Veda wouldn't go near her lion costume, so I pulled some things together that we had and went with the cowgirl. She was happy!

The kids played games and won prizes.

And they got to jump in the blow up castle. Veda was hesitant so Silas held her hand until she felt okay to tear it up in there herself!

Joe snapped a few pics of the kids while V was in full costume with the hat.

After the carnival we stopped by both Grandparents' homes so they could see the kids all dressed up. When we got to Grandpa Mike's house he was giving out full sized candy bars. Grandma told us that he was running low on the suckers that they were giving out and since they were his favorite candy he wanted to save the last ten suckers for himself, so he ran to the gas station and bought candy bars for the last few trick or treat-ers. Grandma always blames his irrational candy episodes on his 'low carb diet'!
