Silas dressed up as Clark Kent for his school party today. I wondered how it would go since he doesn't really know who Clark Kent is. I had picked up these glasses a few weeks back and I knew he was into them so that was good. I made the necktie a week or so ago and he was all over that as well. He was cool with the gel in his hair. He was not cool with keeping his white button up shirt unbuttoned. So not cool with it. And he wasn't cool with wearing his suit coat in class.
Without seeing the Superman shirt under his button up he kind of looked like a Banker or a Mormon on a mission :)
He was a little hesitant to wear his classes (I notice he is becoming more self-aware now that he's in preschool), but once he saw his other classmates in costumes he was all about it.
Here we are on our way home from school. Silas has his party bag in hand. I picked him up and he was still wearing the glasses. Comedy!
We'll see how tomorrow night goes. Between Silas not wanting an unbuttoned shirt and Veda, well, being Veda I have zero expectations!
