Makin' Treats

Silas loves anything task related. I unwrapped the Kisses and he put them on the remaining pretzels that he didn't eat.

I did it!

There is a picture of me at this age wearing a long night gown making the same face! Chip off the old block, eh?

And I will let you all know that making these pretzel, chocolate and candy corn treats with Hershey Kisses instead of Hugs DOES NOT WORK! I thought it would work just fine. The chocolate would melt in the oven an I could press the candy corn on the chocolate and it would be great. Turns out Kisses don't really melt they just burn.  I tried to press the candy corn (really hard!) on the warm chocolate and it just crumbled. Then I had to apologize to Silas for saying naughty words!
