Trick-or-Treat

We took the lad Trick-or-Treating this year.  We were going back and forth on whether or not to do it since he has been under the weather for the last few days.  No fever and thankfully the hurling is over...but he's been clingy and whiny non. stop.

We thought that maybe being outside and getting candy would be a good distraction.  So off we went!

First stop was to be my parents' house, but they both got the stomach flu (so sorry if it was from us, guys!) so we headed to Joe's parents' house.  I wasn't sure if Silas was going to actually put the costume on and I didn't have my hopes up (figuring I could take pictures of him all dressed up at some point this week!)

But, he pulled through and was a Trooper with a capital T!

We went to about five houses and he loved grabbing the candy and putting it in his bag.  He even said 'Thank you!' and on two occasions he actually walked in peoples' homes :)

Five houses was his limit, which was fine with us--we were just excited he put his costume on!
