Silas and I officially survived the stomach flu.  Being 35 weeks pregnant and experiencing non-stop vomiting for almost 9 hours is definitely hellish.  My belly was cramping since I was so dehydrated and I was nervous I was going to go into labor.  And for a millisecond I was like...hey, I am ready to be done being pregnant, let's do this! And then one second later I was like...I can't deliver a baby and be vomiting at the same time!

By morning I was better. Thankfully, because Silas decided to get sick that afternoon.  After multiple loads of laundry and lots of television watching we are back to our selves!

On a better and unrelated note:
Here are some phone pictures that make me laugh...the kind that I send Joe during the day.

1) sledding down the driveway in a bucket?
2) His sledding outfit:  Tie-Dye pants are my niece's...who is 6 years old. They are a size 5 and are meant to be worn as longer shorts.  Silas was at her house one night and must've got his pants messy so we picked him up wearing these.  And we've had them ever since. And he has loved them ever since.  He handed them to me to put on and so I put them over his pants. He was happy to wear them the rest of the day!

3) My Payless Shoe's sandals circa 2003.  They are big and clunky and he drags himself around the house wearing them.
4) My aunt sent me home with some snazzy Christmas decorations for outside our house.  They are sitting in our garage and apparently Silas thought that this Santa decoration resembled a guitar.  Here he is strumming way on the step!

5) And my personal favorite.  Shopping at Walmart. This is about the only way we can get grocery shopping done in peace. Blankies (plural!), pretzels and a cereal box to lean on.

We hope Baby Girl is a silly as you are, Silas!
