This bun is half baked! I don't think I was this large with Silas at 20 weeks. Probably had something to do with the fact that I wasn't able to eat anything the first 14 weeks of my pregnancy with him. I'll take the largeness over the illness any day!
I really can't complain this time around. The only thing that has bothered me is my absent mind. I never remember having 'pregnancy brain' before, but yikes is it here. Maybe I have just over booked my summer with a very active Toddler, I'm not sure. I have missed appointments, forgotten about play dates, showed up to music class at the wrong time, words and names slip my mind. It's the weirdest thing.
Last weekend we took a family walk around Pleasant Lake in North Oaks. It's a five mile walk, mostly shaded with beautiful homes to admire along the way. I was a little nervous that Silas wouldn't hold up in a stroller for almost two hours. He fussed a few short times to get out, but about half way into the walk he was fast sleep. And about 3/4 of the way into the walk I wanted to stop. I asked Joe if he could get the car and come get me....too bad no motorized vehicles are allowed on the trail. I thought that my pelvis, groin and lower abdomen were going to explode. I waddled the last little bit and eventually made it to the car. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be that difficult.
I did get a cute shot of some ducks taking a snooze!
And here is my little buddy passed out on the big chair after a long, hot afternoon at the park.
