Chapter eleven has been full of character. Silas is full of hugs, kisses and snuggles. Silas is also capable of spending an afternoon putting forks in outlets, flushing things down toilets and emptying drawers one sock at a time.
I could go on and on about this kid, but I'll let the pictures do most of the talking (what a nerdy sentence!)
Silas' first time with Jell-O. It stains. He had red spots on his head for days :)
I went back to get Silas from the car and found him like this. I smiled.
At the end of the day when he has pulled every cord and smeared every window with is slimy hands I still get a snuggle bug. And it's all worth it.
He would splash in there all afternoon if I let him.
Older cousin Sydnee is always a big help. Here she is rolling up his pant leg. She's so sweet.
Silas is into anything that is not a toy. The other day he became attached to some old film cases that he found in Joe's nightstand. There is a case in his left hand, too, it's just tucked under his shoulder.
And his all time favorite book...The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He has finally gotten to the point where I can actually read the book cover to cover in regular speed and he pays attention the whole time.
Joe plays hockey Monday nights and before he goes he always gathers his hockey stuff at the top of the stairs. And every week Silas gets his hands on the hockey stick.
Silas and Grandpa Jon have a special bond. They both get equally excited to see each other :)
