Birthday Brainstorming
With the Baby's birthday around the corner I have been doing some brainstorming on how we are going to celebrate. I am thinking there will be a caterpillar cake since Silas loves the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.We will only be celebrating with our families I'm not going to go all out. No elephant rides in the back yard this year!

For my daughters first birthday I made mini cakes (or cupcakes) in chocolate, vanilla, and carrot cake. Then had a variety of flavors of icing and sprinkles and let everyone make their own dessert. It was easy prep time and everyone was able to make their own favorite treat.
Fun idea!
