Here I am celebrating my first birthday. I remember that doll. Or is it the pictures of my playing with her that I remember? Anyhow, I think Silas looks a lot like I do in this picture....the coloring and same shaped head. He also has that same serious look on his face when he's studying something :)
This is my official on year picture. Silas has more Boy features....and bigger eyes, but I see a lot of him in this photo. I was trying to figure out where he gets his wider set eyes and wider head. My head isn't AS wide as his, Joe's baby pictures show a very narrow head...his mom and dad's both are narrow as well. Then I came across this. Below is my mom and aunt (before the other six kids came along) and my mom (on the left) is sporting a similar shaped head as Silas. She is THRILLED that her grandson resembles her, even a little bit.

And you're right about one of my 2010 goals, but I tried to refrain from sharing that with the world ;-) Don't want to jiinx anything, you know!
