Totally self entertained. Only words I heard he speak while he was playing, "Mom, look!"
Joe was home sick all week and this is when the kids stole his cough drops from his night stand and hid behind Silas' chair. I busted them and Veda was not happy about me taking the cough drops away.
Bubbles in the sink. I was sewing some things while Veda was napping. I let Silas have a Quite Time in the kitchen. Moments after this picture water was spilling over the back of the island. The rug got soaked, water everywhere. Fun while it lasted!
Once in a while Silas will wake up in the middle of the night and come and sleep on our floor. Here is proof.
The kids got into the toilet paper. You think Silas is too old for this stuff, he is. Veda is the instigator.

Nothing is sacred, I swear. Veda is dancing on the foam for my breakfast nook bench. I had it on the bench, but it got soiled with pen and peanut butter. So I 'hid' it in my room while I am waiting to get it covered. It's hard to hide almost 200 inches of foam!

Playing in the tunnel together. This is a toy I bust out in emergencies; like when the kids are on melt down mode all morning. New or newly revisited toys always seem to help!
I made dairy-free no-bake cookies for a nursing friend's birthday party. Veda is helping me clean up.

I finally made it to SR Harris to look for fabric/vinyl to cover the cushions on my bench. I wasn't expecting this. The vinyl variety was HUGE and I found exactly what I wanted for an absolute steal. But I can see this store being a bit overwhelming if you don't know what you're looking for!
