Grand Marais

We ventured to Grand Marais last weekend with two other couples and their kids. Beautiful and quaint little town, but the weather was horrid. Windy, rainy and cold. The adults could handle store hopping, but the kids could not.

We managed to get out of the condo and into one rugged store. The kids loved watching videos of men carving snow.

And on our way home. Veda wasn't having it so I had Silas hold her hand. 

We stopped for breakfast at the Coho on our way home. That was fun. I love the Coho! Probably my favorite breakfast eatery in the state.

We also stayed up late playing Settlers of Catan and The Game of Things after the kids went to bed. 5 kids 3.5 and under. Two were sleeping in closets and one in a bathroom. All in pack n plays, of course!
