This bathing beauty somehow became 18 months old. She is a bundle of emotion, energy and pure joy with a little hot sauce on the side. 

Veda at 18 months-

~ Communicates very well. She uses her language skills often and seems to be learning new words daily. Most recent word = happy. If I ask her a question (ie We are going to go downstairs now, okay?) She replies with, "Okaye!" Most used word in the day, "Yea!" 

~ Fearless is her middle name. Loves to get her head dumped with water in the tub, goes head first down slides and it doesn't phase her if she is cruising down the driveway on her tricycle with no control. 

~ Her temper is hot and if she's mad everyone knows

~ Under that hot temper is has a sweet maternal side. She loves to snuggle and mother her stuffed animals and baby dolls.

~ The teachers at school wrote a little note to her on the last day saying, "You were never left behind....always wanted to be involved." That pretty much sums up Veda! She was the youngest in class, but the teachers say that you'd never know. Always wanting to get in line and preferred to chase the football with the boys than to sit with the ladies. 

~ Still has a book obsession.

~ Usually only naps once a day for 1.5 to 2 hrs. 

~ Loves her brother to a fault. Pesters him every waking hour. Sometimes he loves it, other times he doesn't.

~ Very social and warms up easy to new people.

~Big appetite (stating the obvious?)

~ When dad is around he is preferred. 

~ Her scream is deafening

~ Where Silas is a perfectionist and welcomes help when unsure of how to do things, Veda prefers to do things on her own batting away helpful hands.

~ She calls herself Eee-ah

She is our perfect little Veda who makes life exciting for everyone. Love you, Chicken!
