Full as in plentiful!
Friday night we went to dinner with Grandma (as Veda calls her: Me-amma) and Grandpa in Hudson then watched Field of Dreams at the River after Veda went to bed. Which it was my first viewing of the movie. At least I think so. I'm so bad at movies. I never remember the endings and I usually fall asleep at some point. Which is probably why I never remember the endings. But I made it through FOD and enjoyed it.
Saturday night we went downtown with some friends. It has been a good while since I did that. Rest assured, I left my sparkly tank tops at home and steered clear of dance clubs! We enjoyed some tapas at Barrio and then the boys enjoyed a cigar after dinner. I get a 'drink' about three times a year and am never really impressed. I am one of the few people on planet earth that doesn't like a buzz. I know, but it's true. But I will say that Barrio's mojitos are ah-mazing! And the mild buzz was actually enjoyable.
Sunday we spent the day the Jordan's splash pad!
Silas, Bennett and Veda all got some good use out of the kiddie pools and slides.
Tatum decided to sit out this round and just hang out in the shade.
And the boys decided to do an impromptu tree demolition. Hand saw and all! Pat got a free swing set off Craigslist for $50 and had to cut down a tree in the back yard for it to fit. And I'll let Lindsey blog about that free $50 swing set! :)
Veda enjoyed swimming in the sandbox as much as she did the pool.
Monday was Teddy Bear Park. Silas had the most fun playing in the nasty drinking fountain water. The drain was clogged and yea, gross.
Puddles!
