I attempted to teach myself how to crochet using Youtube videos. And since it takes so much concentration I had Silas entertain himself with some yarn. He has been fishing over the banister for days. I have tried to crochet a hat twice. Looks more like a doily, though.

Also, Veda is 16 months today.
She copies everything Silas does and is saying a zillion and a half words. Most recent is poop which sounds more like boop and high chair, which sounds more like achoo. I walk down the driveway and she yells, "Ma-ow". Yes, baby, I'm getting the mail. She will grab her bare feet while sitting in her car seat and say, "Tickle, tickle, tickle." And if we even whisper the word  bath she flexes every muscle in her body and excitedly screams, "Baaaah!!!"

She is definitely down to one nap a day and I so desperately wish both kids were on the exact same napping schedule every single day no matter what. She is tired by 11am and Silas is full of energy until 1 or 2pm. I often try to take them somewhere to wear them both out so they fall asleep on the way home and both go down around noon.

My mom was one of eight kids with two sets of twins in the mix and her mother always said that twins were easier than two kids who are different ages because the twins were always on the same schedule. I totally get it!

Veda has a sweet love and admiration for Silas. She sees his picture and yells, "Sy! Sy!" She sees him sleeping in bed and jumps on him with excitement. And she royally annoys him just as much.

Still is my social butterfly who seems to only be afraid of worms and vacuums.

Fighting over the lawnmower. I heard them quarreling; came down the stairs and this was what I saw. I stepped over Silas to get my camera, came back to the stairs and took a picture before breaking it up. You would have, too! Pure comedy!
