We got home and after I put away groceries Veda decided to take out all of the paper bags from the cabinet.
Silas wanted in on the fun so he jumped right in.
Next was Tupperware.
I tried to prep some food to have on hand while they 'played'. Broccoli and Quinoa. And the only reason I know what Quinoa is is because half of our small group are organic eating vegans and I only bought it out of guilt. That and it's really tasty AND good for my kids, and me and Joe. We joke that we will accidentally become vegans because of who we hangout with. Wouldn't that be a trip!
Somewhere in the morning Veda took a 1hr nap and Silas and I colored.
Then I let the kids watch Sesame Street. Veda doesn't do TV so she rolled around on the couch and showed me the lights.
Snuggled her baby.
I decided to fold some laundry. Which is always a challenge when she is awake. I did it real quick and put it in a basket and hauled it to the top of the stairs so she wouldn't get it.
I turn my back for one minute and she got it. All of my hard work down the stairs. Ugh!
Time to eat. The Quinoa and broccoli didn't go over so well with the little one. Peanut butter toast and strawberries it was.
Silas requested peanut butter on a spoon as an appetizer.
Moments after this photo was taken he says, "I'm soaked!" And that he was. Pee everywhere. I have to figure out how to wash the stool cushions.
Silas went down for a nap shortly after this. Veda, she's still rockin' it. I've tried to convince her to take another nap, but no such luck. Now it's 4:40pm and she's at my feet taking everything out of the desk drawer. And I'm afraid it's too late for a nap. That means early to bed for the baby!

We are Quinoa fans here!! Well, Connor isn't totally convinced about how delicious it is but Rick & I both really like it...and we for sure won't become vegans ;)
Ha! We're practically vegetarians these days! Not quite vegan though. Haven't tried quinoa yet. Sounds good! And BOO on the laundry. Veeeeydaaaa.
