The weekend before Silas got to see Barney at the Target center. Lindsey scored a handful of free tickets to the show so three of us adults wrangled seven kids in a suite and watched the purple dinosaur on stage. Silas mostly enjoyed jumping up and down with Adam to the music while the littler ones were more interested in climbing on things they shouldn't. Overall, huge success!

| Momma, LOOK!! |
Also worth documenting. The kids and I have been doing some volunteering at Good Samaritan (nursing home). I volunteered there to help me pass my pregnancy time while I was swollen with Silas, if you remember reading about it? Anyway, some moms I met through music class organized volunteering events at Good Samaritan in the form of crafts. I know. I jumped all over it! We have been making fleece tie blankets with the residence. I can't post any pictures on the blog of the residence, but just imagine little old ladies (and one little old man!) sitting around tables making blankets. And it's for a good cause. The blankets will be going to an orphanage in Africa! Kinda really cool! The best part about this volunteering is that I showed up on the wrong day last time. I was way off. But instead of sending us home they had Silas, Veda and myself help the residence make apple pie. Comedy! Since it wasn't a very kid-friendly event we didnt' stay long, but it was an interesting experience to say the least. I pealed the caramel squares and Silas ate them :)
Tomorrow is family picture day. A day that I looking forward to all year and a day Joe doesn't understand (but he does a good job of playing along!) I even got the kids some cute clothes for the event. But I may have to reconsider the new sweaters and knock-off baby Uggs seeing as it's supposed to be 80 degrees. Hopefully the photographer can edit out pit rings. Or maybe we'll do something more creative like this:
No?
Finally. Look how they've grown!
