We met up with some friends and their little girl at the Washington County Fair last night. McKenzie is just one month younger than Silas and we thought they'd enjoy a little taste of the fair.
Here they are waiting for the pig race to begin.
Waiting/climbing.
Ready, set, GO!!!
We saw lots of animals. I walk into a barn and my eyes start to water because I am allergic to everything! I sucked it up and took one for the team so Silas could enjoy some bunny petting.
Last, we thought the kids would like to try some rides. McKenzie was at the fair the day before so she knew all about the rides. Silas wasn't so sure about all of the loud noises, but he gave it a shot.
Oh no, things are looking iffy for the big guy.
And that's all folks! They had to stop the ride to remove my crying child. We did get a ticket refund, but immediately handed them over the McKenzie's parents because there was no way Silas was going to get on another ride. He clung to us for dear life for the remainder of our stay.
Maybe next year he'll appreciate the loud noises and fast rides.
