Top Five

Looking back at year number one of motherhood I can say that these are my top five favorite things. In no particular order...

The formula dispenser.  Easier and more convienent than carrying around a big tub of Enfamil.  Each slot can hold enough formula for eight ounces.  The top stays on and it is so easy to pour into a bottle, shake and serve!
Living with a baby with dry and sensitive skin, this lotion has been amazing.  Applied daily it works like a charm.  We also use it for calming baby back rubs.

This mesh teether/feeder has been great for irritated gums.  I stick an ice cube in it and Silas is occupied and pain free for a good chunk of time.  Although he is satisfied, he does get wet!
Pediatric chiropractic care.  Living with a baby who had reflux issues and ear infections (which go hand in hand) getting him adjusted regularly has worked miracles. He has suffered zero ear infections and was off his reflux prescription medication within weeks of getting adjusted.  A happy baby equals a happy momma!

And probably my favorite thing....Angelcare Movement Sensor.  If baby stops breathing an alarm goes off.  I found it especially useful when Silas started to prefer to sleep on his stomach and would flip over at night.  It helped me sleep knowing that if something was wrong with him I would know.

I asked Joe what his thoughts were for this list.  His number one was Tylenol. And I'd have to agree....but I figured drugging a baby for relief was common knowledge :)
