The crib has three settings. High for infant hood. Middle for when they can stand up. Low for when it's converted into a toddler bed. We're not converting the crib, but when Silas stands in his crib I envision him doing a head-first dive. The bar is below his chest and the mattress needed to be lowered.
Here are my boys getting the job done. Joe is not a "do it yourself" kind of guy. He wishes he was, but, to be honest, I do most of the fixing (light bulb changing, painting, putting together) types of things around here. Itis fun to see them doing some hands on stuff together!
(If you look close you can see Silas is getting more hair and it's curly!)
As you can imagine, Silas is a phenomenal helper. Always right there checking things out.
Thanks, guys! The crib looks great and I don't have to worry about the little guy escaping. PS In case you were wondering, Saturdays usually do consist of a husband in a Beater. Welcome to our house!

The first thing I noticed was Silas's hair! It's getting so long!
