He is babbling up a storm saying mama, dada, kaka, gaga, unga and other fun babble noises. He probably hasn't a clue what mama and dada mean, but it's funny that whenever he is crying in his crib the phrase that comes out is "mama-mama-mama!"

Silas still loves his bottle. Whenever he has one it's like a drawn out love affair. Hands over eyes, blanket in hands, eyes rolled back, blanket gets rubbed over eyes and face and his feet have to be free. If there is a blanket over his feet he will wiggle his feet so they're free. I'm going to miss that bottle when that stage is over, but I won't miss cleaning a million of them through each day.
He eats about anything he can get in his mouth, and thus far, there is nothing he has refused. He loves to take sips of water out of my cup and we're working on using a straw.

One thing I really love about this age is that it is fairly predictable. I know when he'll be tired for a nap, I know when he'll be hungry and when bedtime is. He is so busy during the day that he naps really well. And, he just dropped his third nap so he goes to bed around 7:30pm and wakes up between 6:30 and 7:30am which is blissful!

He loves to play Peekaboo, Chase (up the stairs) and to splash in the bath. And he HATES to get his diaper changed. I usually break a sweat trying to change it.

Stranger anxiety is slowly kicking in. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've left him and he's cried. But on the other end, at Music Together class I usually see him crawling on some other Mom's lap!

It's hard to believe that ten months ago Silas was 8.5 lbs and wasn't even able to smile. Now, he's a goofball with eight teeth and laugh that melts hearts. Happy Ten Months, Boo Nutt!
