The deep creases in his neck have somehow diminished as he has grown taller. His little hands and feet don't seem so little anymore and his understanding of his surroundings never cease to amaze me.
He loves to play, preferable with people than with toys. Whether he chases us around on all fours or plays peek a book behind a blanket, that big mouthed grin is bound to be painted on his face. When he is all curled in his crib with his head buried in his hands I look at him and I cannot wait for him to wake up so I can press my nose against his and see his big grin from the corner of my eye. But, when he is up and getting into everything at once I am anxious to see him sound asleep looking so innocent.

Silas is our little vacuum. Crawling around the house picking up all the tiny crumbs and taste testing them. Even if he sees a spot on the carpet, he will sit and point and pick and it hoping it will release so he can shove it in his mouth. I have found lint, paper, a hard dried up noodle, pine tree needles, balls of hair and cords in his mouth, to name few.
And of course I had to capture his sophisticated ankle cross. He often sits or lays with his ankles crossed, especially when he's drinking milk from a bottle. He has also started a relationship with a blankie. While he is drinking his bottle he likes to grab an end of his blankie and rub it in his face. So, yes he still puts his hands over his eyes while he drinks, but now he prefers a blanket in one of his hands. It's so precious watching him fall sleep while snuggling Mr. Blankie.
