Just Because

On Monday Joe calls me mid-day and asks if I have any plans on Tuesday. Right then and there I knew he had something up his sleeve because I know him all too well when it comes to surprises! I said I was free and knew that even if I had plans I'd cancel! He said, "Okay, great." and that was it. So Tuesday came and I cleaned up the house, showered, did my hair and found a cute outfit to put on, just in case this was something more than I expected....like, I don't know, maybe Oprah was going to show up with her camera crew because Nate Berkus wanted to finish our basement or something?!

11:15am Joe walks in the door with flowers.

My heart was happy to see my husband in the middle of the day during busy season and get flowers. He told me that he was able to be home for a while so if I wanted to hang with him I could, or he'd watch the baby if I wanted to take a nap. I sat and thought about it and as I was thinking he showed me that there was a card stuck in with the flowers. I open the card and read that I had a massage scheduled for 12:00 that afternoon and Joe would watch Silas while I went to the massage! No WAY! Best surprise EVER!!

Needless to say, my basement is still cement and I have yet to be on the Oprah show, but seriously, I have the world's best husband and I couldn't be happier!
