Chapter Four

My baby is four months already! I thought three months was my favorite stage, I was wrong, four months is so much fun!



His pediatrician was right when she said that I will probably come to the 4 month well child check with short hair. I haven't cut my hair, but it's usually up or else he grabs and pulls it all. day. long. Dangle earrings aren't even an option at this point. But, it is quite fascinating watching Silas' motor skills develop by the second. One day he's touching and scratching the toys in front of him, the next day he is maneuvering a teething ring over a plastic stick toy and putting it in his mouth.



Speaking of teething, he cut two teeth over the 4th of July weekend. His two bottom teeth are starting to poke through and when I stick my finger in his mouth I feel some rigidness. I figured he was teething (drooling, shoving EVERYTHING in his mouth, fussy at night, chewing on his bottle nipple).
